Wright Feldhusen Architects created the Yallingup Residence in Western Australia.
Undertaking description
The website is a rural area with magnificent valley views to the east. The property is a holiday residence for the client and their extended grownup family members, and their kids. The client is involved in steel fabrication, and consequently steel framework was element of the construction basis.
The principal residing area is a massive glassed pavilion that sits over a substantial stone bedroom suit which is nestled into the hill. This supplies perfect sound and privacy separation from the actions over. The main bedroom suite is a wing that penetrates and pokes through this pavilion. This is a continuation of the garage and laundry places which produces a western courtyard. The entry is at the intersection of these components.
The transparency of the primary residing region is crucial to swallowing the view. The steel roof structure ensured the roof floats above with butt jointed glass. The principal external residing places are to the north and are protected by massive roof overhang. The supplies are selected to weather with time and also contrast with the predominantly modernist architecture.
