Not only is this the talk of the town thanks to knock out menu, but it has just taken out the ‘Best Hospitality’ award at this year’s Belle Coco Republic Interior Style Awards.
Opening its doors late final year, Yellow is the most current venture from owners, Chef Brent Savage and Sommelier Nick Hildebrandt. The pair had been inspired by the European type of dining that provided contemporary foods and wine served in an informal ambiance at affordable rates.
But for us as designers, it is the informal and welcoming interior that caught our interest. Sitting among the relaxed interior of Monopole and the sophistication of Bently Restaurant & Bar, Yellow delivers a bistro design knowledge.
The award winning design came from Sydney primarily based designer Pascale Gomes Mcnabb, who has worked on all of the groups’ projects. The interior at Yellow will take the building’s background in its stride even though nevertheless offering a warm contemporary edge.
The historic Yellow Residence is set at 57 Macleay Street in Potts Point and has an amazing historical past of ar2rk held inside its bones. Back in 1950s the building was utilised as an ar2rk gallery, displaying performs by Australian greats such as John Olsen, Robert Hughes, Robert Kippel, Brett Whitely, Peter Weir. Now residence to Yellow restaurant, the creating even now holds an incredibly expressive nature about it but in a restaurant setting.
